Office Prime Rent: Milan, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt and London in comparison

Focus on Milan, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt and London, European important cities, not only due to recent changes made by Brexit and new positioning of EMA and EBA, but also for their performance in real estate office market.

This data has been revealed from new “Report Office 2017”, realized from internal Research Department of World Capital, point of view of real estate office sector.

Among these 5 European cities, London reaches top rent with 1.600 €/sqm/year. British City, after Brexit, resizes its economic power in favor of Paris, new seat of EBA.

Paris becomes the new European financial pole, with an annual office rent of 770 €/sqm/year. With more moderate values for rent and appeal location, the Défense, Parisian financial quarter, will have 7 new skyscrapers. Frankfurt, which lost the nominee as new seat of EBA, reaches a prime rent in office real estate of 460 €/sqm/year.

Concerning Amsterdam, whereas, the new seat of EMA reaches a prime office rent of 370 €/sqm/year. The office spaces, which will welcome new seat of EMA, are working in progress and they would be located in Zuidas, headquarter of different international societies.

Milan, wich loses the occasion to welcome EMA, reconfirms itself as prime Italian destination in office real estate market. Prime rent in Milan is 510 €/sqm/year, in step with Melbourne (500 €/sqm/year), Oslo (520 €/sqm/year), Sao Paulo (520 €/sqm/year) and Stockholm (550 €/sqm/year).
